How to Launch Without Pressure, Fear, or Burnout: A Soulful Approach To Selling Online

Launching can feel overwhelming—there’s the pressure to hit goals, the fear of failure, and the tendency to overwork, leaving us drained and questioning whether it’s all worth it. But what if launching didn’t have to feel that way?

In the latest episode of The Blue Sofa podcast, I share how you can transform your launch process into something peaceful, aligned, and even joyful. Below, I’ve captured the key takeaways from the episode along with some of my favorite quotes to inspire your next launch.

1. Your Offer is an Act of Service

One of the most profound mindset shifts you can make when launching is to view your offer as an act of service. Instead of focusing on the pressure to sell or the fear of failure, focus on the people who need what you’re offering.

💡 “Your offer is an act of service. It’s here because someone needs it, and they need it now.”

This simple reframe takes the weight off your shoulders and allows you to show up from a place of authenticity and generosity.

2. Shift from Selling to Inviting

When we approach launching with a mindset of forcing sales, it creates resistance—not just for your audience but for you as well. Instead, think of your launch as an invitation.

💡 “See your launch as an invitation, not a demand. This shift immediately removes the pressure and makes the process feel more soulful and comfortable.”

By shifting into a space of invitation, you can detach from the outcome and trust that the right people will find their way to your offer.

3. Detach from the Numbers and Trust the Process

It’s easy to get caught up in numbers during a launch: how many people signed up, how many sales you made, or how much revenue came in. But focusing solely on numbers can create anxiety and take away the joy of launching.

💡 “Detach from the outcome. Trust the process. The more aligned you feel, the better the results.”

When you let go of the need to control every aspect of the launch, you allow yourself to show up more energetically aligned and magnetic to your audience.

4. Lead with Inspiration and Service

Instead of overthinking your next step, ask yourself how you can show up in a way that feels good for you and inspires your audience.

💡 “Instead of focusing on numbers, ask yourself: How can I show up today? How can I inspire and serve my audience?”

This approach not only keeps you grounded but also helps you connect with your audience on a deeper level.

5. Think Long-Term, Not All-or-Nothing

Launching isn’t just about immediate sales—it’s about building trust, connection, and awareness over time. A single launch is just one step in the bigger picture of your business growth.

💡 “Launching isn’t just about immediate sales—it’s about building long-term trust, connection, and brand awareness.”

When you shift your perspective from short-term wins to long-term impact, it reduces the pressure and makes the launch process more sustainable and enjoyable.

6. Honor Your Energy Throughout the Launch

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that sacrificing your energy to achieve better results is never worth it. In fact, the calmer and more aligned you feel, the better your launch results will likely be.

💡 “The paradox is that the calmer my launch, the better the results. The more aligned I feel, the better ideas, connection, and outcomes I experience.”

Prioritize your well-being throughout the launch process—get enough sleep, nourish your body, and honor your daily rituals.

Make Your Next Launch Peaceful and Aligned

Launching doesn’t have to be a high-stress, anxiety-filled experience. By shifting your mindset, honoring your energy, and focusing on serving your audience, you can transform launching into a joyful and fulfilling part of your business.

Peaceful Launching: Selling Without Pressure, Fear, or Burnout

Welcome to the blue sofa. In this episode, we're going to talk about peaceful launching. So I'm going to talk about how you can sail without feeling pressure, without the anxiety, without the burnout, and especially without the launch flu. I mean, if you have ever launched, I am quite sure you know what I'm talking about. You know, when you have pushed yourself so hard through a launch.

that you are more or less completely drained and maybe even sick afterwards. So we don't want that, especially now when we want to create an aligned and soulful business.

Before we dive into the episode, I want to tip you about that I have created what I call a soulful lawns planner. It's actually designed for you so you can plan your next lawns without the stress, without pressure and stay in this energetic alignment a whole space for yourself so you don't experience the lawns flu basically. You can find it just here below in the link.

I have a lot of peers and colleagues and clients who often tell me that they feel really anxious or overwhelmed when they think about launching anything.

And even the idea of selling can make them feel pressure or forcing. They have to force to even be able to sell. And I want to tell you that launching doesn't need to feel that way. It can feel peaceful. It can feel aligned, exciting and even nourishing.

And in today's episode, I want to share how you can shift from high pressure and fear based launching into a more soul aligned and heart centered process that feels good for you and also for your clients and your audience

You're going to learn how to attract and nurture and sell without burnout and shifting your mindset from, oh my god, this launch has to work. I have to make this much money. To, I call in whoever is ready and also how to hold your own energy throughout the process so you don't have to, feel any kind of burnout or drain on your own energy.

So I usually say that I'm kind of a launch queen. But I say that because launching and doing these live campaigns have been, it kind of been the way I built my business for many years. I have been launching and using the system, the sales system of launching, I don't know.

for maybe eight years or something like that. And then I shifted to a more automated model and semi-automated model and a combination. But no matter how much I automate my marketing and my sales, I keep on getting back to the live launches because at this point, I actually really love them. I think there's so much fun and I love the connection I get to the audience and...

I love the energy and excitement of the launch. But honestly, want to tell you that I wasn't always like that. I have been where I was over planning, overworking, measuring every single step and success was only a number. And the only thing that mattered was how many signed up.

At that point I kind of burned out, know, not burned out, but I had like the burnout after the lawns, so the lawns flew. And I needed to, at that point I really needed to adjust things, because that was the way I did things. And I just became more more drained in my selling and marketing to a point where I didn't want to sell and I didn't want to market myself, because I had so high anxiety that I had to do another lawns. So at that point I realized

I need to shift and I need to understand, you know, inside of me, what is the purpose of what I'm doing here? Why do I keep on launching? Why don't I shift to another model? Or what's actually holding me back here? And then I realized that launching is actually not about selling at its core. Of course, it's about selling. But for me, it was not about selling. It was about connecting. It was about serving.

And that shift just made the whole difference. The whole difference in me. So instead of feeling high pressure and pushing myself too hard, I love launcing today. And I love doing it once or twice, maybe three times a year, just for the fun of it, you know. And today I want to share with you how you can do the same, how you can shift your energy in the way you show up in your lawns from high pressure and

forcing to actually enjoying serving and connecting.

I understand, truly understand why many female entrepreneurs really hate launching. I understand that there can be such a pressure to hit the numbers, right? Because if launching is like your main strategy to get income and revenue in your business, it is high pressure, right? And under that,

Under that immediate and maybe the most understandable fear of launching, know, not hitting the numbers, there are tons of other things going on, So it's not only the drain of not hitting the numbers that makes us hate launching, but it's also like the fear of rejection, the fear of failure, right?

or you have to force do more in your launch period than you actually have the capacity to do. It can also be such a pressure to do a live launch because everybody can see how quote unquote successful or not successful you are. Maybe you feel a need to constantly prove yourself or constantly be better than the last launch, right?

What you can also experience is what I call the past lawns trauma. Feeling exhausted, disappointed or even emotionally drained from lawns you did in the past. And that can kind of affect why we would hate lawnsing today. So I want to help you shift all of this. And the first shift, I want to...

invite you into is a mindset shift. So the shift is shifting selling.

into service. So your offer is an act of service and your offer is here because some people need it and they need it now. So I would invite you to shift one. What if nobody purchased anything from me? What if my launch fails and nobody purchased anything? I want you to invite you to shift that into I trust that the white

the right people will come and the right people will thrive in my offer. So see your loans as an invitation, not a demand. And what that does, it immediately removes the pressure and the burden that you have to sell and you have to get clients. It doesn't change the fact if you get clients or not, it just makes it way more.

soulful and comfortable for you to actually be in the lawns and when that is the outcome for you it will drain you way less probably not at all and you will be able to show up way more magnetic and way more empowered than if you had to show up from you know feeling exhausted or feeling like a disappointment or just

emotional drain in some capacity, right? The other trick I want to share with you is holding the energy of your lawns. So when we lawns, we can feel really anxious and we can sit there, you know, and you chick's drive all the time. Who purchased? Why didn't nobody purchase? Should I push more? Should I show one more life? Should I do more? Should I be more all the time? Right? And it can

create this sense of anxiety. And what I want to invite you into is trust. Trust the process. Trust the process of the lawns. Trust that your offer is enough and you already did the planning, you know? And now it's just a matter of being open and showing up as you and being in service. And then practice detachment.

detachment from the outcome. Now I totally understand that we need to make money in your business and you would probably love to expand your cash flow and expand your audience and expand your clients. Totally understand that. But the moment that our expectations are attached to a certain number, the anxiety rises, right?

And the moment you can detach from the outcome, you can be way more receptive to whatever wants to happen and the ideas and creative flow of the next step. So instead of trying to force, need to do this, I gotta do this, then feel into, know, what would be really fun right now? What would be nice for me? How could I show up in a way that could be super inspiring for my audience?

So I hope you can see how shifting from anxiety to trust and openness and detachment from the outcome, as it can put you in a situation where you show up in a way, way more inspiring way. Also, instead of forcing, instead of forcing, then ask yourself, how can I show up today? How can I be at service today?

How can I inspire my audience today? So what that does is that instead of your lungs is all in your head and you have to do a lot of things, then you feel into the energy of the lungs and you feel into the energy of the audience and allow yourself to show up in a way that is appropriate for your own energy and appropriate for your audience and appropriate for your lungs.

And sometimes that means, I'm super inspired to be more online. I'm super inspired to do a live. I'm super inspired to do a live Q &A. I'm super inspired to reach out to everybody who clicked my sales page and ask them if they want to jump on a call with me. And sometimes it's, you know, I'm going to wait a little and see what's happening or

I'm going to send out an extra email and see how people respond. Or I'm going to talk about this topic that I feel really inspired about and see how people respond.

Also, like holding the energy in your lungs is also shifting from this all or nothing to a way more long-term vision. What we tend to do is that we have this all or nothing mindset where we tell ourselves, if I don't make this much money in the launch and sometimes unrealistic amount of money in a launch, then...

I have to close my business or then I'm not good enough or then I fail as a entrepreneur or then I'm really a failure in sailing or whatever history you can have going on inside of you, right? And I want to inspire you to look at launching in a different perspective. So instead of looking at launching as a short term, I need to create money right now. Look at it as

high impact task that you do for your long term vision. So the amazing thing, the amazing thing about launching is that it is very high impact, meaning that you are very visible in that period of time. Maybe you grow your list. Maybe you present your offer more intensely than you normally would. And that builds your brand.

It builds your, builds awareness around who you are and what you do. And for some people, because they're ready to purchase right now, it's a perfect opportunity to join your program or join your course. But for some people, it's just not the right timing. And it doesn't mean that your launch is a bad launch or your product isn't valuable. It just means that they're not ready right now.

But maybe they are next launch or next launch or next launch, right? So instead of looking at launches like all or nothing, look at a launch like a strategy for selling market and building your brand long term. So launch your product several times, have like one, two launches every year of the same product and look at it over the long term process instead of the short term results.

When you do that, like when you hold your energy in your lungs and you shift your anxiety, you shift out of forcing and you shift out of this all or nothing, I can almost guarantee you that you will not have any lungs flu or any emotional drainage from your lancing. And I can almost also ensure you that you will thrive when you launch actually.

For our peaceful lawns, there are three phases and I want to talk through these three phases so you can kind of build them into your lawns. Both because, yes, we need to understand how we hold our energy and how we show up from an empowered version, but we definitely also need to understand how to build a lawn to make it peaceful but also successful, right?

So let's go into these three phases of a peaceful launch. The first phase is the attract phase. And this is where we bring new aligned clients into our social media. We bring them into our email list. And we wanna do that because we want to make sure that the people who are aligned with

with the product we want to sell, that we have them ready in our audience, right? And we want to, in this phase, naturally draw in your audience before the launch actually starts. And that could be content that attracts exactly the person who has the problem that your product is the solution for.

in on your social media, could be conversations that you're having on your podcast around that topic. could be conversations you're having in other people networks. It could be visibility, different kind of visibility, talking more about this subject on your email list. It could also be ads for list growth. It could be collaboration for email list growth.

where you specifically have a lead magnet, also what is called a freebie or free gift, that is completely aligned to your offer that you want to launch. And I normally recommend doing this for two weeks, maybe even four weeks, depending on how experienced you are. The more experienced you are, the shorter of a period you can...

you can be in this attract phase. The next phase is the nurture phase. it's actually, this is a phase that most people kind of skip, but it is really, really important because it's going to boost the connection to your audience and create trust before you even ask them to purchase anything from you.

Most people, don't buy immediately and it's not about the price, it's not about your product, but it's about trust. And mostly it's about trust in themself. So our clients need to trust themself enough to make the purchase. Also, they need to trust you so much that they understand that if you tell them that this is the right thing for them, then they will be like, okay,

I trust you and if you think I can do this, I think I can do it too. So when we want to nurture, we want to nurture with content, storytelling and authentic engagement, both social media and your email list. And we want the topic to be topics that are related to the problems and solutions that our clients are experiencing.

and looking for that are also connected to your product.

In this phase we don't do hard selling. We do what I call soft selling. And I usually say it's like having a glitter sock outside a window if you would have like a normal shop, right? So it's like having glitter socks in baskets outside your shop and they catch the eye of...

they catch the eye of potential clients and they're like, I like the glitter sock. It's really nice. Maybe I should go into the store, you know? So it's not about communicating at this point. It's not about communicating doors are closing, like you have to make up your mind. This is what you get, you know? It's not about that. Soft selling is about storytelling.

creating content that I value, so something that gives them a tip or gives them a change their perspective on a certain matter or kind of gives them small breakthroughs that makes them ready to say yes. And then it is more an invitation. So selling here would look like, and if you would love to join me in my new program, then doors are open. I would love to see you.

you can click here to read more. That's like the selling part of this phase. It's not, the emphasis is not on selling, it is about nurturing, creating connection and trust in your communication, right? And this phase is typically also one to two weeks long. And then we have the last phase, and that's the selling phase. Here we are focusing on how

heart-centered selling without the pressure. And in this phase, what you're basically doing is you're holding the energy of this offer is for those who are ready, like say yes if you are ready. Gentle invitations that nudge them to take action combined with stronger calls to action, like doors are closing, this bonus is going away.

This is a fast action you can get if you sign up now, you know? And we wanna communicate a little more intense here. And if you are more advanced, you can do segmentation and only communicate to those who actually engaged with your nurture emails and nurture content in general. And the reason why we wanna do that is because we don't want to spam people.

but we still want to communicate with those who are ready to take the next step, who are motivated to do something about the problem they're experiencing. At this point, it's really important when you hold space for yourself as well to detach from the numbers and look at the success time beyond the sign-ups, like how many clicked, how many wrote to you, how many people did you inspire, and so on.

Again, it's not because we shouldn't have success in the numbers. We shouldn't feel successful and have like a lot of signups. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about holding the space for yourself and for your clients here. So Don'tsync becomes a really, really, really nice and nurturing experience for you too and for your clients.

I don't think I know anything that is more triggering to the whole hustle, work hard, force, trauma than launching. So does that mean that we shouldn't launch? No, that's not how I see it. If you love live launching and you love the excitement of live launching, but you have this inner hustle, forcing,

person within you that kind of is difficult to control when you launch and that's what's draining you.

then I want to really invite you to dive into this we're going to talk about right now. Because when we have a goal, it's easy to go into the whole hustle energy, right? It's easy to be, then I'm gonna be all in, I'm gonna make it bigger, I'm gonna make it more crazy and then I will get even better results than the last time. But the thing is, there is no thing

the bigger the lawns the better the lawns Especially not if you have a tendency to drain your own energy and To sacrifice your own energy to get better results, If we have to pay with our own energy to get better results we we doing something wrong in our

in our launch strategy, we're doing something wrong in the way we show up, you know, the energy we show up from.

We can get into this launch tunnel where everything else becomes, just not a priority. know, sleep is not a priority, movement, nourishing food, self-care, being with your family, it's not a priority when we're launching. And I don't think that is a very sustainable way to run a business.

Especially not if you're female entrepreneurs, we have a hormonal system. We have a cycle, a hormonal cycle that does not support big lawns as a man would do it, because we're simply not wired to do that. So if you feel yourself going into this lawn tunnel and

You just work, work, work, work, work, because you hope that the bigger lawns, the better results then.

What I would invite you to do instead is shift into, of course, what we talked about in the beginning of the podcast, but also ground yourself and honor yourself throughout the whole process and recognize that maybe this is a trauma response, maybe hustling and forcing and

That whole belief system of doing more will give you more is a trauma response because it could not be further from the truth. I mean, when I do launches today, I keep my daily rituals. I sleep minimum eight hours. I get movement in every day. I eat nourishing food. I pick up my kids. I take care of myself.

My self-care rituals are the same. I go get facials. I go get my nails done with my daughter. We do that every month. I have my created outlets. I read books. So that's one of my outlets. I bake sourdough. I do all of those things because I understand that the price of sacrificing my energy...

is never an option, first of all. But also, the paradox is that the karma my lawns, it often brings better results. The more aligned I feel, the better results. The more aligned I feel, the better ideas. The more aligned I feel, the more connection. The more aligned I feel, the less trauma, the less past lawns trauma I will experience, right?

The energetic alignment doing a launch can change up so many things. Not only for your launch here and now, but also for your experience of selling in your business and your experience of launching And I think that's the problem, right? We get so traumatized by pressuring ourselves.

that we give up doing something that we actually really care about and that actually will bring us to the desired outcomes.

So if I had to like wrap this up, would say...

Launching does not have to be high stress. It can be such an exciting process of attraction, connection and connection. And if you can manage to detach from the need to hit a specific number and instead trust that the right people will come in, you do yourself such a favor. Also,

Prioritizing your own well-being instead of overworking is such a shift because your energy and your well-being is way more precious than whatever you can be paid for. if you want to learn how to launch and do it in a way that feels more nervous and peaceful and aligned, I have my Soulful Launch Planner
